Founded on 22 November 2019, Ummeed Foundation is a registered charitable trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (Registration No. 207/2019, Darpan ID: HP/2025/0616429). Since its inception, the Foundation has been dedicated to creating sustainable social impact by empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and promoting inclusive development.

Headquartered in Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, with activities extending across Paonta Sahib, surrounding regions of Himachal Pradesh, and adjoining areas of Haryana, Ummeed Foundation works at the grassroots level to address some of society's most pressing challenges. We believe that lasting change begins within communities and is achieved through collective action, compassion, and empowerment.
Guided by our motto, "Spreading Hope, Shaping Futures," we strive to create opportunities that enable people to lead healthier, safer, and more dignified lives. Our initiatives are designed not only to address immediate needs but also to build long-term solutions that promote self-reliance, resilience, and sustainable development.
Our work spans multiple sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Environment, Animal Welfare, Child Development, Women Empowerment, Rural Development, Art & Culture, and Sports & Youth Affairs. Through awareness campaigns, educational programmes, health initiatives, environmental conservation activities, self-defence training, community outreach, and volunteer engagement, we aim to bring meaningful and measurable change to the communities we serve.

OUR FLAGSHIP INITIATIVES
Making a Real Difference
Panthers Club Nahan
One of our proudest initiatives is Panthers Club Nahan, a children's social welfare group established under the umbrella of Ummeed Foundation. The Club provides young people with opportunities to participate in environmental conservation, cleanliness drives, animal welfare, cultural programmes, and community service, helping them develop leadership skills, social responsibility, and compassion from an early age.
Self Defence Academy
Another flagship initiative of the Foundation is our Self Defence Academy, which has been providing free and continuous self-defence training to girls and children for more than four years. This programme equips participants with practical self-defence skills while building confidence, discipline, physical fitness, and the courage to become independent and self-reliant.
